5 Signs you are dating a loser

LifeStyleYou’re smart, attractive and funny. Then why is it that you attract so many jerks and losers? These signs will help you recognise one sooner.

1.He would like to ‘go Dutch’ on your first date

I’m saying this on behalf of all Venusians, but please let me clarify that I’m not being a feminist. Asking a woman to ‘split the bill’ on a first date is simply rude. Yes, she is an independent New Age woman who drives her own car and pays her own rent, but does that mean she is not entitled to good ol’ chivalry? So, if this guy cannot even pay for your coffee or a cocktail, then it means only two things: He’s not into you and sees you only as a friend or he’s just a jerk.
2.I, me, myself
Do you see a Narcissus in your date? A guy who only talks about himself, how much he earns, how women find him irresistible or how he can give even Johny Depp a run for his money? Avoid those with a bargepole. A guy who does not listen to his date is not worth anyone’s time, ever.
3.He’s a freeloader
You think it’s quite cute of him when he says he’d rather spend time with you than going clubbing. We agree, but if it becomes a habit, you ought to know it’s his miserly ways rather than his loving nature that keeps him from going out socialising with you. Dump him.

4.Did you just say ta-mah-to?

You don’t care if you’re grammatically incorrect sometimes, if your jeans are ironed or not, or know who’s the home minister of the country. But your boyfriend does. He will annoyingly correct your pronunciations, lecture you on how to dress… and even bore you with knowledge of the stock market. If he is the reason you’re suffering from low self-esteem, then it’s time to throw both tomato and ta-mah-to at him!

5.Your friends don’t approve of him

If more than one friend waves the red flag at your partner, it’s time to re-look at your relationship. Your friends know you better than you think. Trust their instincts. They are seeing what you’ll discover much later, hopefully not too late.
6.His friends creep you out
A man is known by the company he keeps. Old adage. But so true. If his friends creep you out, it’s time to say goodbye
