You love him. He loves you. You talk on the phone every day. Go on dates frequently. Discuss almost everything under the sun. Your relationship grows by leaps and bounds.
But one (not so) fine day, he wants to call it quits. If you find this happening all too often, maybe it’s not him; it’s you! It could be something you are doing that’s driving the guys away. Here are five types of girls no guy wants to date. Just make sure you aren’t one of them.

1.The dominating girl

She digs her own grave. First, she leaves no stone unturned in winding up her boyfriend in all maddening manners possible. She tells him what to wear, what to eat, where to go, who to hang out with etc. If her partner tells her to back off a little, she refuses. Instead of taking it as a word of warning, this girl overlooks the amount of agony she puts her partner through. She moves heaven and earth in a chase to get things back to ‘normal’. Needless to say, the dominating phase is normal for her. As a result, she either has to face the brunt of being constantly ignored by her partner or getting dumped right away.

2.The possessive girl

She keeps calling her guy relentlessly and bombarding him with irksome questions like, ‘Where are you?’, ‘Why aren’t you taking my calls?’ and ‘Who are you with?’ She wants to keep a tab on her boyfriend’s whereabouts right through the day. She regularly checks his mobile messages and emails. She’ll stoop to any level to keep her partner as close to her as possible! With this kind of behaviour, she manages to rub out all the fond memories of their relationship from her partner’s mind. Feeling trapped, the guy doesn’t take too long to call it quits. And in the end, the ‘detective’ girlfriend is left ‘jobless’, with only tears and regrets.


3.The initiator
Such girls decide which guy to start a relationship with and then make the first move. They pick the places to hang out, the movie to watch etc. In such cases, the girl is the ultimate player. She plays it hard – as hard as a rock! She takes charge and the guy lets her do the honours. By the time he gets so used to having her around all the time, she changes tracks and decides to bid him an unexpected farewell! He, as usual, remains mum this time as well and lets her go her own way without much questioning. Clearly, such girls know how to have their cake and eat it too.

4.The cry-baby

As soon as an argument or a fight begins, the cry-baby does what she is best known for – shedding tears! It makes her partner confused and scared and he does everything in his power to get her to smile. But the ‘sob story’ continues time after time and eventually he gets used to her charade. After a while, it just makes him angry to think that he’s being manipulated with her tears.

5.The poster-boy lover

It’s not a crime to be a fan of a film star or a politician or a sports personality or any celebrated and renowned entity, for that matter. But this is different. This girl isn’t just a fan, she’s obsessed! She obviously doesn’t value her partner and it doesn’t take long for him to realise that. The outcome: She’s dumped!
